Your cornea is the clear, dome-shaped outermost layer of the eye. The cornea helps to shield the rest of the eye from germs, dust, other harmful matter and It helps to focus the light coming in. Contact lenses, if you wear them, float on top of your corneas. Problems with the cornea include:
