Dr. Mont J Cartwright is a board-certified Ophthalmologist who specializes in the treatment of cataract, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eyes. He is sub-certified in oculofacial plastic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgery.

His expertise in the field has led him to write over 70 medical publications, conduct numerous lectures, and participate in multiple speaking engagements.
Although initially pursuing an academic career, Dr. Cartwright has found greater satisfaction from private practice and founded Medical Eye Associates to provide patients with a practice that is sincerely committed to providing only the highest quality of medical and surgical care.
Dr. Cartwright has a long-standing relationship with the Florida Division of Blind Services and Lions Clubs International providing those in need with his time and surgical experience.
Dr. Cartwright and his wife Lisa have been raising their three children in the Central Florida community since 1992, where he is known as one of Central Florida’s premier ophthalmologist and oculofacial plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgeons.
