Dr. Patel, O.D.
Dr. Patel was born and raised in London, England. She graduated as an Optometrist from City University, London, and worked in the UK for eight years before moving to the United States.

There, she attended the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, in the highly sought-after two-year accelerated Doctor of Optometry program and graduated with honors as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honors society.

Dr. Patel then completed a residency program in Primary Care with emphasis on Cornea and Specialty Contact Lenses at Nova SE University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. During this time, Dr. Patel also taught the 4th year Optometry students and published her first paper on Specialty contact lens fitting in patients with corneal dystrophies.

Dr. Patel’s clinical focus is primarily dry eye disease, corneal disease, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and cataracts. She is incredibly passionate and skilled at treating all forms of eye conditions and continues to learn and develop her knowledge every day.

Dr. Patel is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the Scleral Lens Society.
