Dr. Crockett, O.D.
Dr. Crockett was born and raised in Canada. She completed her Honors Biomedical Science degree at the University of Waterloo in Canada. During that time, she worked as a research assistant in both the Optometry and Engineering departments, where she completed her first co-publication in 2011 on the “Effect of contact lens material on cytotoxicity potential of multipurpose solutions using human corneal epithelial cells.”

Dr. Crockett completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale with honors. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honors society, and she graduated with professional distinction, in completing an additional honors course involving extra lectures, presentations, volunteering, and tutoring other optometry students.

She completed externship sites in glaucoma, low vision, vision therapy/pediatrics, disease, contact lenses and primary care. Dr. Crockett completed two additional rotations for strabismus and kids in distress pediatrics.

Dr. Crockett is extremely passionate about the diseases and medical optometry; anything out of the norm that offers a challenge. She has spent many hours observing ocular surgeries: retinal, cataract, corneal, etc. and continue to enjoy expanding my knowledge in the field.

In her spare time, she likes to run, play beach volleyball, practice yoga, and do CrossFit.
